Your body remembers what your mind may have tried to move past.
Stress, overwhelm, and trauma can leave a physical imprint — in your muscles, fascia, and posture — long after the moment has passed. This 30-minute guided somatic flow helps you soften, release, and create space for more ease.
We’ll begin with a short, accessible introduction to why tension gets stored in the body, the bidirectional connection between posture and the nervous system, and how somatic movement can be a powerful tool for regulation. From there, you’ll be guided through a gentle sequence of grounding breathwork, hip-opening movements, spinal unwinding, and upper body release — designed to work “bottom-up” to help your system shift toward safety and regulation.
This practice is for you if:
You feel tension or heaviness in your body that doesn’t seem to go away with stretching alone
You’re looking for a gentle way to support nervous system health and emotional regulation
You want to deepen your connection with your body in a safe, guided way
You’re curious about somatic experiencing as a self-care tool
What’s included:
30-minute guided flow
Lifetime access to the video replay on a private, members-only page
Post-flow reflection prompts to help you integrate any shifts or insights
What you’ll need:
A comfortable space to move
Yoga mat or soft surface
Optional: pillows or bolsters for added support
This flow is gentle and beginner-friendly. Everything is optional — you’re encouraged to listen to your body, pause when needed, and modify as you go. It is not a replacement for therapy or medical care, but it is a valuable tool to add to your self-regulation toolkit.
